Bowvember 2025

November 19 - Quebec Prostate Cancer Awareness Day

On November 19, 2014, the National Assembly of Quebec unanimously adopted a resolution declaring November 19 as “Quebec Prostate Cancer Awareness Day.” This motion was unanimously renewed by elected officials in 2025.

Adopt a Resolution

Mayors of Quebec, we invite you to play a key role in the fight against prostate cancer by adopting a resolution to designate November 19 as the official Prostate Cancer Awareness Day in your municipality.

This resolution will help encourage prevention and awareness of prostate cancer, which is the most common cancer among men.

Engaged Municipalities

PROCURE also aims to mobilize as many municipalities in Quebec as possible to adopt a similar resolution in their respective cities. Several municipalities passed a resolution this last fall or supported the campaign by purchasing bow ties.
