Physical Activity: The Miracle Solution for Fighting Cancer?

Prostate cancer patients can find lots of benefits through regular physical activity. Indeed, exercise not only reduces the risk of dying from cancer, but it can also reduce the risk of the disease recurring. Moreover, moderate intensity exercise can help attenuate some of the side effects of prostate cancer treatment such as swelling, fatigue and anxiety.

With the growing number of promising research showing the benefits of exercise on prostate cancer patients, there are more and more health professionals prescribing physical activity during the recovery process in order to help with treatment side effects and minimise the risk of the cancer coming back.
